Day 1 – Arrival in Istanbul

You will arrive to the New Istanbul Airport. Here, you will meet your warm travel agent employee to get a transfer to your authentic hotel. You will stay in Istanbul for that night.

Day 2 – Morning flight to Cappadocia ( Goreme National Park and Cappadocia )

After your opulent breakfast leave the hotel. Tranfer to Istanbul airport. Flight to Central Of Anatolia. Arrival at Nevsehir or Kayseri airport. Transfer to Cappadocia area Cappadocia is an important place among the Turkey tourism destinations. You will start your tour with Kaymaklı Underground City. This underground city is considered as an interesting underground settlement in Cappadocia. From there, you will go to Sahinefendi (Sobesos). Here, you will see Mosaic Art and Archaeological excavation site from the Byzantine Period. The valley villages with mountains around them gives us a spectacular view. Our next stop will be Keslik Monastery near Cemil. The ancient frescos are hidden behind a smoke layer. Here, you will visit Mustafapaşa (Sinasos) which is an old Roman town with its old houses. These houses are the great examples of late Roman settlements and architecture in the region. Our next stop will be the Red Valley. The valley consists of incredible volcanic rock formations. This valley is at the centre of Cappadocia. Still, the valley is not overcrowded by tourists. You will spend the night at Cappadocia.

Day 3 – Cappadocia

After breakfast, you will continue to discover Cappadocia. You will go to Devrent valley to see the rock formations. You will go back in time with troglodyte houses. Then, you will visit Pasabag which has “fairy chimneys”. Here, you can even hear the “songs of fairies” near Zelve. You will take your lunch in Avanos which is the centre of red pottery since 3000 BC. Here, you will witness the traditional pottery craftsmanship. In the afternoon, you will go to Goreme Open Air Museum. The museum is home to incredible examples of the Byzantine art in Cappadocia. There are churches carved in the rocks with frescoes and paintings created betyouen the 10th and the 13th century. Our next stop in your tour will be Uchisar Rock- Castle which gives a panoramic view of the Cappadocian valleys. You will stay in Cappadocia for the night.

Day 4 – Cappadocia

After having you breakfast, you will leave the hotel for the tour. Your experience today will be hiking in Ihlara canyon. You will drive to the beautiful Ihlara Valley. Here, you will hike in Ihlara canyon. The canyon is like a “mirage” at the heart of Anatolia. Belisirma village which is an ancient peristrema is also offers an amazing beauty. This village is known as the “valley of the sky” lying along the Melendiz river. Here, you will see churches cut from rocks and wild plantation. The view will amaze you as well as the churched ornamented with the representations from the bible. You will have your lunch in a local river-side restaurant in Belisirma. You will go back to the city center via Selime village that has carved houses and an amazing landscape. You will transfer to your amazing and comfortable hotel. Day 5 – Cappadocia – Kahta

After breakfast, you will leave your hotel.
You will drive to Karatay Caravanserai. Here, you will get the chance to visit the caravanserai. When you drive to Kahta (Nemrut), you will give a lunch break in Kahramanmaras. Here, you can taste the famous ice cream of the city. You will reach to your hotel in Kahta.
You will spend the night in Kahta.

Day 6 – Mt.Nemrut – Urfa ( Mount Nemrut 1987 )

You will leave your hotel early in the morning at 03:30 am. Today, you will visit the summit of the Mt. Nemrut (one of the most popular UNESCO world cultural heritage sites). Here, you will watch the amazing sunrise, visit the colossal heads and statues of ancient deities from the mythology. Small minibuses will take you to the top of the mountain. Everything you will see is at 8000 ft. There are statues on top of the mountain on two plain areas which are separated by crushed rock. The entire complex was built by Antiouchus about 2000 years ago as a monument to his divine ancestry. You can visit the old Arsemeia castle, cross over the Cendere Bridge (Septimius Severus bridge) that is still in use dating to the 3rd century and Tumulus Tomb of Karakus. You will go back to your hotel to have breakfast. You will drive to Urfa. On the way, you will stop by at Ataturk dam to enjoy this modern-day wonder. Also, you will get the chance to visit Gobekli Tepe. This area is a hilltop sanctuary erected on the highest point of an elongated mountain ridge some 15 km northeast of Sanlıurfa. You will continue to your travel to Turkey 08:30 am after having your breakfast.
Mardin is in the southeast of Turkey on a high hill overlooking the plains Turkey and Syria. You will start your private Turkey tour from deir-al-zafaran (the saffron monastery) which is the Syrian Orthodox Patriarchy centre and monastery. You will have your lunch and drive to Hasankeyf near the Tigris river. The city will be submerged due to a dam project on the Tigris. Hasankeyf is famous for its caves, hidden waterways, tombs, palaces and an exquisite mosque. You will spend the night in Mardin.

Day 10 – Mardin – Diyarbakir ( Diyarbakir Castle and Hevsel Gardens 2015 )

Diyarbakir has amazing old-Arabic style houses. The city was prominent in the early years of Christianity. You will visit the city, walk in the busy streets and bazaars, and admire the stonework all around the town. Next, you will go to deyr-azca-zaferan monastery. It is few miles away from the town and dates back to 762 A.D. The monastery was the centre of Syrian Orthodox patriarch for almost 800 years. This monastery is built on top of a 4000- year-old temple that previously belonged to sun worshipers.

Day 12 -Sivas – Yazilikaya

Sivas is an important a city for the Turkish independence movement. Here, you will visit the Ataturk congress and Ethnography Museum, Sifaiye Madrasah, Double Minaret Madrasah, and the 13th century Sky Medrese to admtte the Turquoise sky-blue tiles.
Then, you will go to Amasya which also played an important tole in Turkish independence movement. Here, you will see the restored Ottoman houses, Green River, tombs carved to rocks, apple fields, and the Ferhat aqueduct. You will spend the night in Bogazkale.

Day 13 – Hattusa – Safranbolu ( Hattusa Bogazkoy Corum 1986 )

On the 7th day, you will visit Alacahöyük and Hattusa which are the important cities of the ancient Hittite Civilisation. Hattusa was the capital of the Hittite civilisations. Hattusa dates back to the 3rd century B.C. The city was the main settlement area of an Anatolian tribe Hatti. The origins of this tribe are unknown. The city played an important role as it connected the Egyptians with the Hittites. The historic Battle of Kadesh also took place in this city. The war resulted in truce since there was not a definite winner. This truce is believed to be the first truce in the human history. 4000 years old Hittite City Hattusa has the famous Lion Gate, the Great Temple and other grandiose structures. Day 16 : Istanbul
