This day is all about Jewish heritage sites and Taksim. You will start your day from Askenazi Synagogue located in Balat. This synagogue is the center of Jewish settlement in Istanbul for more than 5 centuries. Then, you will visit Neve Shalon Synagogue. Also, you will see Ahrida Synagogue built in the 15^th century. This synagogue is one of the oldest examples in Istanbul. Your next stop will be Galata Tower and the old neighborhood.  You will get an amazing view of the old city. Next, you will visit an history and ethnography museum called Zulfaris Museum dedicated to the friendship between Jews and Turks. The tour will be completed in Ortaköy. The Ottoman Sultan had welcomed Sephardic Jews to the country here. There are also beautiful cafes and restaurants. Next, you will go to Taksim that is a 1.2km long closed street from Taksim Square to Tunnel. There are lots of different stores such as music stores, bookshops, movie theatres as well as cultural centers, churches, historical places and restaurants. You will visit the “Flower Passage” that dates back to mid-19 century. You can hear the Turkish music in this passage. There is also a Fish market next to the Flower Market which is a lively place to find fresh fish, vegetables and to grab a bite.  You will go back to hotel around 17:00pm.

* For this tour, you need to provide your passport copies to take a notice. To visit the synagogues, a permission from chief rabbinate is necessary and the synagogues are not open on Saturdays, Sundays and Holy Days.
